BERGEGGI ISLAND
Bergeggi Island is part of theBergeggi Regional Natural Reserve, it rises above the sea to a height of 53 meters.
The island has now become a symbol of this corner of Liguria, and with its gulf It preserves a protected marine area and an ancient maritime republic where the towns of Bergeggi, Noli, Spotorno, and Vezzi Portio tell their history and showcase the beauties that their nature has to offer.

BAY OF SIRENS and PUNTA PRÒDANI BEACH
The Bay of sirens and Punta Pròdani Beach they are two charming little beaches located in the curve between Bergeggi and Spotorno. These beaches are characterized by crystal-clear waters and an isolated, hidden position, nestled between rocks and Mediterranean vegetation; they are a natural beauty for those seeking tranquility or a unique place for snorkeling.
Easily accessible by car or bus, or on foot for those who enjoy hiking.
BERGEGGI CAVE
The stretch of coast between Torre del Mare and Bergeggi, characterized by an alternation of coves and rocky headlands, is home to the most famous marine cave in Liguria.
The Marine Cave of Bergeggi it constitutes an environment of considerable archaeological and naturalistic interest. Inhabited since ancient times, numerous paleontological finds dating back to the Neolithic have been discovered inside it.
It is a karst cavity formed within a mass of dolomitic limestones, approximately 200 million years ago.The emerged part features a large main cavity into which the sea now enters, along with some branches located at higher levels.
Below sea level, it is structured into various tunnels, more or less spacious rooms, and brackish lakes, where seawater mixes with continental water from infiltrations.
Investigations conducted on the submerged parts have demonstrated that the cave consists of a significantly diversified environment of great naturalistic value, not only due to the richness of karst phenomena but also because of the variety of biological communities.
The cave is visible from the sea and can be reached by canoe or kayak, and it is also accessible for swimming.

CAVE OF THE COUNTERFEITERS and PILGRIM’S PATH
The Pilgrim’s Path is a long cliff overlooking the sea with breathtaking views that concludes in the Cave of the counterfeiters(Grotta dei Falsari).
Along the path, you will encounter old churches, now desecrated ruins, and probably the name of the trail suggests that it used to be a route for pilgrims. The trail can be traversed on foot and also by mountain bike.
From Noli, the trail starts on Via XXV Aprile, where the houses end, towards Varigotti, not far from the church of San Francesco.
The route is indicated by the informational sign of the Dantean walk.
